My father is such a man as this, and he and his fellow movers go every Wednesday to a local pub to form a small group to modestly drink ale and discuss things such as current economic and political movement, the social direction of the time, the worth of reflection on past versus mindfulness of the present, and the ability to really have a full perspective of life. They see what we read, what we do in our spare time, how organized we are, what sorts of lamps we enjoy, and subsequently our opinions of ourselves.
